One original 16 x 16 RGBA standing PNG from Super Mario Maker (2015), Super Mario Bros. style, was obtained from the public MarioWiki file. The 245-byte original PNG response is preserved without conversion or editing. Original file SHA-256: ad865950e94aaf224ccbe4d43e138bb57e7542bc2251aa34fc26550a3ad915ff

The exact standing pixels are encoded in editor-smm2-spring-source-pixels.mjs and exposed as weightedSpringStanding by the generic editor-smm2-source-assets.mjs registry. Both use the same source rows/palette; this static registry addition does not change legacy Spring dispatch. The weighted Spring renderer preserves complete three-row upper/lower caps wherever the actual body has room, resampling only source coil rows between them. Real top and bottom are rounded once and all pixels stay within those body bounds. If a defensive unusually short body cannot contain both full caps, cap rows are sampled within that actual height; the visible body is never enlarged to preserve caps. Actual native minimum heights were 8 for the 16-source and 20 for the 32-source in ordinary-input measurements. Source 16 x 16 is exact. The only larger author source size is 32 x 32 at uniform 2x; it is not a recovered original variant. Non-square and other source bounds are unsupported and rejected for the typed weighted body, avoiding invisible wider standing surfaces. The compressed and 32 x 32 views are author adaptations. No original compressed GIF, compressed animation frames or complete Super Mario Maker 2 sheet were acquired; no Nintendo timing or story-course geometry equivalence is claimed.

Nintendo image rights are separate from project code rights. Public catalogue availability does not grant an open-content licence. This addition does not alter historical asset provenance or expand the private learning scope. No new Spring audio is included.
